Curbside Pick-Up – Friday 4/17 – From 2 to 4!

 

Hope you had a safe and healthy Easter! We have launched this week’s menu and will be adding some exciting things throughout the week.

Green Drop Farms is making some hand sanitizers for us and will be bringing veggie plants for your #virusgardens!

We are excited to be getting ready to stock the freezer with beautiful pork from Heritage Farms outside of Goldsboro, NC. They raise superb pigs in a clean and humane manner.

We do apologize for the monster waits on Friday! The community outpouring of support was wonderful and making sure we kept the sidewalk clear as best we could made the process take some time. We so appreciate your cooperation and patience!

We will be doing the CSA boxes every other week to ensure that families have time to go through the produce and that nothing goes to waste. If you are ever stuck for ideas on the contents, be sure to email Sam. She has more recipes in her brain pan for vegetable than you can shake a stick at!!!! (For instance, I had no idea how delicious braised celery was or Mediterranean celery salad but I have since been schooled!) In fact, I am going to convince her to put up her Paris Carrot recipe. It is a delicious salad an occasionally I even tuck it into a sandwich for an unusual acid and crunch when it isn’t tomato season!

We are also re-launching our 24 Hour Book Club on our website shortly, which is a lot of fun!  Stay tuned for more!
